Incorporating smoothies in your daily routine are important for the following reasons:

  • First and foremost – they are as convenient as meals can get! Especially if you plan ahead with prepping. (click here to read my 7 Helpful Smoothie Organizing Tips blog)
  • Secondly, it enables us to fill our bodies with the daily vitamins and mineral count that we need, and often times don’t get just by food consumption. (Let’s be real, how often do you accidentally skip a meal from being busy? That’s even more of a reason for you to smoothie!)
  • Healthier weight loss – Think of it like cleansing your body. I think overall we as a nation are becoming more aware of what is in our foods as for chemicals and additives go, but there’s still a ginormous amount of people who are eating processed / inorganic / GMO filled greasy fast foods. When you smoothie, you cut all of that toxicity out. Thus, losing fat loss and increasing nutrient levels.
  • Improved digestion – In a smoothie, your food is already broken down allowing your digestive system to be at ease. That alone is worth incorporating smoothies (IMO).
  • Your skin will glow – certain foods radiate our complexion, strengthen our hair, nails, teeth, eyes, and purify blood. Who wouldn’t want that?
  • Heightened mental clarity, better moods, less brain and head fog.

Ingredients
  1. 1 Scoop Everlast Vegan Protein
  2. 1 cup Vanilla almond milk
  3. 1 1/2 Frozen Banana
  4. 1/3 cup water
  5. 1/3 cup Beetroot powder
  6. 1 Tbs Vanilla extract
  7. 1 Tbs Honey
  8. 2 tsp Cinnamon
  9. 1 tsp Raw Maca powder
  10. 1 tsp Glutamine powder
  11. 1 tsp Amalaki powder
  12. 1 cup Ice
  13. 1/2 tsp Caradmom
  14. 1/2 Granny red apple
Instructions
  1. Pour the Almond Milk and Water in first and one by one pour in all the other ingredients
  2. Pour the ice last
  3. Whip and Blend until all ice is dissolved
  4. Taste test and choose to add more flavorings to your desired taste
  5. Pour into two 12oz glasses for two people, or one person at 24 oz
  6. Serve and consume immediately
